Road Fever

With my two favorite girls Shanda, now 22 and Teagan, now 6. Auntie Loves you, can't wait to see you again! Only pic I have of all 3 of us together, that will change this summer.

Warming up here in Surprise, most of May was triple didgits, I am itching to hit the highway for another adventure. Seeing friends and family, finding new places, living the dream. Leaving town July 12 going to take my time head up threw Utah, going to spend the night on a river at Zion National Park, I got the last spot available, how lucky am I?
My Pop's brother Larry has a big "summer bash" every year in Eastern WA, this will be my first time attending. My little niece Teagan is hitching a ride with family and will join me for a couple days of Auntie Camping, I can't wait. Miss my red headed Puddin' Pop!
After that I will make my way up to the Olympic Pennisula for some camping with the Spring Training Crew...woohoo! Most of all I am desperately in need of time at Mark & Besty's place on Hood Canal, eating oysters off the beach and chillin' like no bodies business. Been a lot of changes this year, my soul is stirring. Don't know what is coming next but I am ready for whatever comes my way...

Update: Getting more antsy as the days pass and departure gets closer. I want so much to go get Lucy and start packing but with the stupid HOA (homeowner's association) having Lucy parked in my yard for 13 days isn't allowed. Besides once she's parked here I get to packing and then the Road Fever is so intense I usually just go.

The weather here in AZ has been a dream this summer so why leave now? I miss my peeps! That's why.
