This was the best New Year for the Campbell Kids, spent at Picacho Peak State Park here in Arizona with my 4 Corner's buddies. I've said it before and I'll say it again buying my Airstream was the best investment I ever made. Moving here and joining the 4 Corner's Unit of the Airstream Club was the second best. (disclaimer; of course my dogs are truly #1)

After a very quiet and mellow Holiday season I was ready to get out and have some fun. I found it! Arriving at the Park on Monday, I get out to pay the park volunteer when I look behind my rig and who do I see but the Trailer Trash Queen himself, ScrapIrony (Mike). We had not met before but what a better way then arriving to start the celebration at the same time.

Tuesday morning other began to arrive...Louis & Sergio, Mike & Shari, Jimini & Min! The party was just starting. In all we had around 22 Airstreams! It wasn't a true celebration until Richard & Jan got there.

Picacho is a beautiful state park, we reserved a loop just for our rally. Most everyone brought their 4 legged kidz and they got to have their own happy hour gatherings, get to know one another while having the freedom of being off leash.

I have a special place in my heart for Mike & Shari's big 'ol Lab named Cooper, he is such a sweet boy and my kidz love to hang at his trailer. Shane with her bad legs immediately takes a lay on Cooper's oh so soft outside bed. Then she realizes there is a kitty in the trailer too and is fascinated!

It was a great 6 nights. Everyone brings something totally yummy to happy hour, the M-Ball was being pumped and what is better than having good conversations with great people! We had wonderful weather with exception of Sunday when most of us left it was raining buckets, otherwise I wouldn't have wanted the party to end. After living in AZ for two years this March, I (we) don't do wet!

Coming up next is the Dead Horse State Park Rally and Luau! Woohoo. I will wear signage that reads "DO NOT FEED TEQUILA!" Well other than M-Ball and the occastional shot....bad Jules.
