Almost Perfect Sunday

I love Sundays like this. If it was raining and not hot and windy it would be perfect. Usual routine, get up, coffee, computer, dog walk 'round the hood. Then I had a brilliant idea to get my tush back on the treadmill...I would start watching the Sex and the City series again on dvd while getting some exercise. One episode equals just the right amount of time to keep me interested in walking or running. Of course I had to follow that up with an amazing breakfast of Eggs Benedict, dogs are totally and completely crashed at this point. The good thing about having really old dogs. Even though it makes me sad that they sleep most of the time and Hannah falls down on a regular basis.
After a nice long hot shower and putting fresh linens on the bed there wasn't much else in the way of ambition. Movie and knitting time, I am in the process of making something for someone I love. For the movie I decided on "It's Complicated". I was expecting the usual Hollywood crap but was so pleasantly surprised at how much I like it. But I've always been a sucker for a love story.
Not sure what now to do with the rest of my day so think I will scoot into the kitchen and try out some new fabulous recipe. I've been on a serious chocolate kick, making some of the most decadent desserts. Time to whip up something savory and delicious. Camping next weekend up on the Rim by Woods Canyon Lake. There are some foodies in the group, gotta bring my A game. For me there isn't anything much better than friends, food and wine.
